We were approached by Sports One Agency to help them develop a website which would promote their services to prospective professional athletes and to also showcase these athletes. The competitive nature of the sports representation industry led to many hours of research as we examined what the competition was doing and how we could improve upon it. Along with the normal aspects of creating a project, there were many legal technicalities that we had to be cautious of and work closely with our client in reviewing.
Then end result of our hard work was a database driven site featuring a rotating roster of players on the frontpage and an integrated You Tube video. The interior pages featured a search box which auto-filled in athlete names as well as the ability to search and sort athletes by first and last name. Each individual athlete was given a unique page to display stats and career information! Finally, our hard Search Engine Optimization work resulted in an appearance on Page 1 of Google in a highly competitive field.
